từ từ is like moving underwater, where everything slows and calms.

từ từ is an experimental company that operates from the perspective of compassion (Buddha-like!)

Từ từ transcends a simple idea of to live slowly. To me, từ từ embodies a life of loving kindness, care, gentleness, and the embrace of the beauties of the world. I believe that through từ từ we are bridging connections between people in a deeply meaningful way, so that opportunities for miracles could blossom as we understand each other with love and compassion.

từ từ is a place i hold dear in my heart. It reminds me to embrace the present instead of fearing the upcoming future, that with patience and a right mindset things will fall into places. từ từ is not an enterprise I aim to put in a forbes magazine. Instead, it is more of a sacred book that can only be found in the most solitude and peaceful of places.

Granmoo

a letter

from Granmoo to introduce the living from a place of enough:

từ từ is a community of friends who hold each other in the insight of the compassionate and joyful world our hearts know is possible.

Each of us grew up being taught that the world is frightening and scarce. That there's not enough for everyone so we must wrestle for our place in it. That our heartbreaking reality comes from the bad people who we have to fight against: the invaders, the big corps, the government, the bully, the they and them. Perhaps, it's a world where adults wish their children to be clever, not kind. Because if we don't toughen up and smarten up, we would drown and be rendered worthless.

A different perspective, and is the one at từ từ, is that we see the world as a friend, the nature of life as beauty and goodness. We say, oy! there is enough for everyone, so love freely and give generously. There is no villain but people who have been wounded, so let understanding readily come. There is plenty of room for long conversations and seemingly unproductive pursuits, because our god is the visceral feeling of joy, not efficiency, and our goddess is love, not self-preservation. In this universe, we can bask in the clear stream of unconditional acceptance of oneself and others, for each of us is inherently enough and beautiful.

At từ từ, we hold the insight of a compassionate and joyful world our hearts know is possible. Our coming together is not out of faith, but out of honesty. The earnest knowing of having been touched by a glimpse of what's real: that there is enough goodness and joy. Once touched, our world never resumes business-as-usual. So we carry this moment of clarity forward, amid a system that might tell us we're crazy.

In the Spring of 2020, a stroke of genius brushed me to start từ từ as an invitation for others to join this beautiful view. And in time, “others” and “I” become the we who are creating more conditions for the view of love and abundance to take place.

Our work is our gift to you and ourselves. Each one is an invitation for us to join the view of peace and wonder.

THE HUMANS

Companionship is having one another to remind us of this truth: that we are enough, just as we are. Only through the place of enough can we relax and slow down. This is the place that makes generosity possible, that makes giving for the sake of love and living bears the notes of joy.

Below are the companions within từ từ house (hugs):
